Today I'd like to tell you how I came up with the name "Pure Love and Joy." The phrase "true love and joy" came up in a phone call I had with Mynoo Maryel a few years ago, and it stuck with me, so much so that I still look back on the call fondly today. ☎️💭
Mynoo Maryel is my sister's mother-in-law and full of wisdom. I would describe her profession as a life coach, although her expertise extends far beyond the general topic of life. She came to me at a time when I was going through a mid-life crisis and had unknowingly embarked on a self-destructive path. 🧠🤯
Everything between 2018 and 2020 seemed to be falling apart, even though everything had seemingly been going well in the years before. It was during this time that I had several phone calls with Mynoo to ground myself and figure out what the real problem was. 🔄❓
After several in-depth conversations, she explained to me that I have a need for true love and joy, both in receiving and giving. She repeated this phrase "true love and friends" so often that it became an image or logo in my mind, and I had to immediately jot down this thought after the conversation. 💖📝
It would be another three years before I mustered up the courage to go into business for myself and spread love and joy with my designs. I wanted to open an online store and offer my fun and cheerful designs on print-on-demand products. But what should I call this store? 💻🛍️
Pure Love and Joy, of course! I immediately searched for and reserved the domain, and later connected it to this shop. Unfortunately, someone already had that name on social media, so I went with the extension "store," which fits quite well. 📲🤝
Pure Love and Joy has multiple meanings for me. It's what drives me in life; it puts me in a good mood to pass these values on to others, and it's wonderful to receive this love and joy in return. To put it smarmily: The world would be a better place if everyone shared these values. And I see it as my personal mission to spread this statement. 🌍💌
